In 2022, we proudly installed the prestigious Viscount Envoy 350 Deluxe organ in the chapel, marking a significant milestone for Woldingham School. The decision was made to secure the finest instrument available to match the building size, with plans to enhance the audio system as funds allowed.

We are thrilled to announce that the upgrade is complete, following a meticulous four-day installation combined with a two-day voicing session by Richard Lowe.

This instrument's exceptional quality demanded nothing less than premium-tier components, including Martin Audio loudspeakers, infrasonic subwoofers and Crestron constant load-matching amplifiers.

The result is an audio system that matches the grandeur of the organ, ensuring an unparalleled auditory experience for the school community and its organ scholars.

Woldingham School Chapel, formerly a gymnasium, has become an oasis of peace within the bustling academic community. While the low roofline and somewhat dry acoustics initially posed challenges for optimizing the sound of the new digital organ, we successfully overcame them.

With Richard's guidance and the strategic selection and placement of our premium loudspeakers, his thoughtful choice of voice models, and meticulous tonal finishing, we have crafted an instrument with an impressive tonal range and variety.
